And so the blogging begins not with a bang but with a whimper.

I haven’t written in weeks and weeks.  I lost my mother and frankly I’ve been… well, lost.

Somehow books just haven’t seemed very important.  But slowly but surely they’re luring me back and I’m feeling that spark of interest again.

So as a tribute to my dear mom, here’s a small needlepoint picture she made years ago that now sits on my desk.  I especially like it since her black cat is living with us.

Enjoy,

      Alena,
Thank you and it feels good to be back and books are definitely helping. Especially the picture of the three dogs listening to Go Dog Go!
