The library in the St. Mang Abbey in Füssen, Germany is spectacular. The Benedictine monastery, founded in the 9th century, was dissolved in the early 1800′s.
At that time, most of the books were removed from the abbey, but those that remain are beautiful. Image: ellinger.m
